Friendship & Being An Ideal FriendTo be an ideal friend, one must first care for the ones they are trying to be an ideal friend to. When one cares for others they find that their capacity for love and patience are expanded and because of that are able to be better listeners. Listening and patience are key to a good friendship. When you listen to your friends you are able to find out what they are in need of most. Then, with this knowledge, you are ready to help them achieve their dreams or overcome some hardship. Being an ideal friend doesn't mean telling your friends what they want to hear or doing what they want you to do. It's about telling your friends what they need to hear and doing what you can to help everyone reach their highest potential.
As you further develop the qualities of patience, charity, kindness and becoming a better listener, then you will find a better peace and growth in all the friendships you create.
